Summer classes, Pitt C.A.R.E.S. to begin
With many college students working, relaxing, or spending the summer studying abroad, attending summer school classes continues to be a popular choice for students at Pittsburg State University.
The steady hum of campus life will heat up soon with the start of PSU’s summer school coursework. Classes begin Tuesday, June 10. Many professors and students will be returning to campus over the next few days to get ready for the semester.
For freshman entering PSU for the first time, the Office of Admissions is offering its annual Pitt C.A.R.E.S. (Campus Advisement, Registration, and Enrollment Services) program. The one-day, mandatory sessions give incoming freshman a glimpse at what college life at PSU is all about, and get them enrolled and prepared for this fall. The sessions scheduled for June 9, 13, 16, 20, and 23 are full, but spots are still open in the June 27, 30, and July 11 sessions.
For more information on signing up for summer school, contact the Registrar's Office at 620-235-4200. For details on Pitt C.A.R.E.S., call the Office of Admission at 620-235-4251.
